Dwight Howard Deal to the Nets Finalized Within 48 Hours?

Move over ESPN, there’s a new sports reporter in town. Jermaine Dupri is reporting on his verified Twitter account that Dwight Howard to the New Jersey Nets will be finalized within 48 hours 33 hours. He first tweeted this roughly 15 hours ago as of posting time, so the deal will be completed within 33 hours, according to Dupri.

 

I have to hand it to Mr. Dupri, good job on the marketing scheme. Although at this point I’m not sure what he’s marketing. He’s been in the news lately because he’s getting sued over a repossessed Lamborghini. He’s been seen DJing at events like Nelly’s Black and White Ball and the Orange Drive Music Festival in Miami. It’s clear he needs money at this point so the added publicity towards his name could help out. Just stick to what you know next time — music.

In my opinion there’s no way the Magic trade Dwight to the Nets, especially after the injury to Brook Lopez. This is a once a generation type of center, the Magic are not trading him for an injured player and a couple draft picks.
