MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game VII Countdown #8: Big Sean

MTV has begun their countdown of the hottest MCs in the game, 10-6 will be released this week on MTVNews.com with the top 5 being announced on a special on MTV 2′s, Hottest MCs in the Game VII, Sunday night at 10:30pm. This is what they based the list off:

The criteria to be considered a Hottest MC are based on a combination of impact, buzz, sales, lyrics, swag and the intangibles.

For the 10-6 I will just post who made it, and a quick quote from MTV, Cody and I will be back on Tuesday with our thoughts on the FULL LIST.

#8 Big Sean:

The biggest part of Big Sean’s rise over the past year has been the unwavering support of his fans. While he’s signed to a major label (Def Jam) and one of the brightest stars on Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint, it was those fans mobbing him at the Adidas store in New York and superstar supporters like Chris Brown and Nicki Minaj hopping on his debut album, Finally Famous, that propelled Sean to #9 on MTV News’ Hottest MCs in the Game VII — his first appearance on the list.
