Teen in Iowa Takes Tim Tebow to Prom….. Kind Of
A teen in Iowa had a crazy idea — take Tim Tebow to prom. Rachel Bird of Kingsley-Pierson High School decided to take Tebow to prom, even though he never responded to her request via Twitter. The idea of taking him to prom was started by a fellow classmate, who bet her $50 that she couldn’t take him.
Once the teen came to terms with not being able to contact Tebow, she found a picture of him in a suit and decided to take it to a Staples to have blown up. She then went behind a local hardware store and found some cardboard, which she glued the picture onto.

Days later, she showed up at her friend’s house with her date and immediately became the hit of the Kingsley-Pierson prom.
“It was awkward, but people asked me to stop for photos during the grand march,” Bird told the Journal. “Believe me, this isn’t something I ever thought I’d be doing.
“He was a cheap date, and he didn’t talk much. And when I asked him to stand in a corner, he did. I don’t think it even hurt his feelings.”
You know I thought I was a big-time Tebow fan, but this creeper takes the cake. This is some psycho-type stuff, except someone usually ends up dead, not glued onto cardboard.
