The Orlando Magic Have Interviewed Adonal Foyle for GM Position

Jarrod Rudolph of RealGM had a “goodie” for his Twitter followers today, tweeting that sources are saying the Orlando Magic have interviewed Adonal Foyle for the General Manager position. Foyle currently serves as the Director of Player Development.

Rudolph says that if a change is made, Foyle is the favorite for the position. He says that “he’s a smart guy that [has] been groomed for the job. Other teams, from what I understand, have expressed interest.”

Well, good for Adonal. I’ve only heard great things about his character. I think this move won’t necessarily go over well with Magic fans only because I feel they want the team to bring in a big name. However, for those wanting a change at the GM position, this is a step in the right direction, if this rumor is true.

It hasn’t even been a full 24 hours into the offseason and there has already been two major reports released about the team: the Dwight Howard ultimatum and this one.

Get ready.
