The NBA and Orlando Magic Have Agreed to Extend Jameer Nelson’s Player Option Deadline to the 29th

Via Joshua Robbins on the Orlando Sentinel, the NBA and the Orlando Magic have agreed to extend the deadline for Jameer Nelson’s player option until June 29, two weeks from tomorrow.

Robbins tweeted:

The deadline was supposed to be tomorrow, but now there has been two more weeks added. This tells me Nelson probably wants to see who the team hires as general manager and coach, and to discuss what their new vision is for the team.
