According to the Orlando Sentinel’s, Josh Robbins, Jameer Nelson, who allegedly almost came to blows with Dwight Howard during a practice last season, has come to terms for a multi-year contract with the Orlando Magic.
No details of the contract, years or money have been announced yet, but we will keep you updated when those details are released.
Jameer, while not the best point guard in the league is a great leader, and it is good to have him back in Orlando. In an era where there will be a lot of change coming it is good to know the team will have an established leader. Jameer also stepped up in Dwight’s absence at the end of the season so hopefully with the new era starting he can have a clean start.
**UPDATE** Jameer sent this tweet out at about 11:11 am confirming the story:
Glad to say I’ve reached an agreement with the Magic… I’m blessed to have the best fans and a great organization supporting me!
