Jeanius Thoughts: Episode 1 & 2 [Blind Auditions] Of NBC’s ‘The Voice’

Jeanius Thoughts: Episode 1 & 2 [Blind Auditions] Of NBC’s ‘The Voice’

So for those of you that have been following the site for a while, you may remember that somehow I got hooked into doing something that I had never done, which was watch a televised talent show. I saw the commercials hyping Season One of NBC’s, The Voice, and decided to check it out, I got hooked in, and decided to write weekly reviews of the show. I also gave predictions and was right more often than not, Season Two kicked off Sunday night after Super Bowl XLVI. I won’t write a full review until the battle rounds start, but I will give some thoughts on the first two nights of the show.

Jeanius Review: 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards

Jeanius Review: 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards

So the BET Hip Hop Awards just ended, now normally I wouldn’t be caught dead watching this particular show, I usually just wait for the next day and watch the cyphers online, but tonight I was free and didn’t have anything better to do so I decided to tune in. I think the BET Awards should be enough, and believe the Hip Hop Awards are just a bit too much. While everyone thinks BET, MTV, and VH-1 are all competitors they are all owned by the same company, so I think the VMA’s, BET Awards, MTV Movie Awards, and Hip Hop and/or Rock Honors are more than enough.

Did I Regret Tuning In?
