So season 3 of The Voice has just ended and West Palm Beach, Florida’s Cassadee Pope from Team Blake, is the third winner if the competition, making him the first two time winning coach in the show’s short history. Now anyone who has followed this season closely will tell you they saw the end result coming since the beginning of the live shows.
My favorite/ the only television singing competition that I watch looks like it’s never going away, after getting a second season (third overall) in the same calender year which began last night, internet rumors have the show returning for another spring 2013 season.
Country music star Blake Shelton has found himself in some heat over a tweet he sent out late last week. Shelton tweeted out, “Does anyone know if the Eastern Box turtle is protected in Oklahoma? If so I didn’t just swerve to the shoulder of the road to smash one…”
This Tuesday NBC will find the next, ‘Voice,” with the season finale of the second season of, The Voice. The final four; Jermaine Paul, (Team Blake), Chris Mann (Team Christina), Tony Lucca (Team Adam), and Juliet Simms (Team Cee Lo) will all be vying for the title. Jermaine, the former Alicia Keys backup singer, is the front-runner, with Tony possibly a close second with his former Disney Channel alum, Justin Timberlake openly campaigning for him. Justin Bieber, Flo Rida, Lady Antebellum, and Hall & Oates will all be there.
Find out that they’ll be up to
So for those of you that have been following the site for a while, you may remember that somehow I got hooked into doing something that I had never done, which was watch a televised talent show. I saw the commercials hyping Season One of NBC’s, The Voice, and decided to check it out, I got hooked in, and decided to write weekly reviews of the show. I also gave predictions and was right more often than not, Season Two kicked off Sunday night after Super Bowl XLVI. I won’t write a full review until the battle rounds start, but I will give some thoughts on the first two nights of the show.
