In somewhat of an unexpected turn, “Climax,” by Usher has topped another end of the year chart, this time by Billboard.com, topping their ‘Critics Pick Top 20 Songs of 2012.” Now topping any list is seen as somewhat of an accomplishment, keep in mind that this is the same list that Nicki Minaj’s “Superbass,” topped for 2011.
Usher, who’s new album Looking 4 Myself will be in stores next Tuesday, June 12th released snippets of every song on the album. While he said in the past that he was creating “revolutionary pop,” the album sounds very R&B heavy. Despite his D!plo produced singles, “Climax,” and “Scream,” both of which are dance influenced. You also have to wonder what happened to the something special, that David Guetta said they were working on, as his is not credited in producing any of the songs on the album.

Wale, who is getting ready to release his Ambition album next Tuesday, has a new track from the album leak today. A few weeks back he tweeted about being in the studio with Big Sean, and Diplo, who has also worked with Chris Brown, on “Look At Me Now,” and Beyonce on “Run The World.” The song has leaked and we’ve got it here for you!
I’ve been jammin’ to this one for a while, I’m into a lot of different types of music and when they mix it usually makes for at least something that sounds interesting! It’s pretty crazy that it has taken house music producers to get something going with Busta Rhymes. If you didn’t know Diplo who co-produced this track also co-produced Chris Brown’s “Look At Me Know.” Look for a post next week from me about this next week!
