Yesterday 102 JAMZ turned off the music, for nearly an hour, and allowed some of the biggest names in music, as well as the JAMZ listeners to “SPEAKOUT,” for Trayvon Martin. Local activists, and artists such as; DJ Khaled, Trina, Waka Flocka Flame, & DJ Drama called in and expressed their thoughts on the story.
As big a music fan as I am, I’m not huge on the local music scene, so I wasn’t really looking forward to writing this review. Due to Jean managing C-n-I (Cool & Ignorant), he couldn’t give an unbiased review, so he asked me to review their mixtape Reasons 4 My Dreams.
Last night I posted the big announcement about Lil Wayne being the coach of Dwight Howard’s team for his All Star Weekend. The announcement was made with my brothas DJ D Strong and DJ Nasty on the Sunday Night Shutdown on 102 JAMZ. I got my hands on the audio clip so you can hear Wayne make this HUGE announcement!

A few weeks ago here on Thoughts of a Jeanius we ran a contest giving away an autographed copy of the then #1 album in the country. J. Cole’s Cole World. The winner didn’t reply in time so instead of keeping it. I decided to do another contest!
