Throwback Tuesday: Jermaine Dupri feat. Da Brat & Usher – “The Party Continues”

We’re going back to 1998 for this week’s Throwback Tuesday, back when compilation albums were cool. Life in 1472 was one of the more successful ones. The album featured heavy-hitters such as; DMX, Mariah Carey, Jay Z, and obviously Da Brat and Usher, for this track. Surprisingly while doing my research for this song I found out that this was actually the most successful single on the album, considering most people think of “Money Aint’ a Thang,” and even “Sweetheart,” before this one. It hit top 30, 15, and 10 on the Hot 100, R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, and Rap Singles, respectively. I always seem to forget about this song, but alas we’re reunited again!
Dwight Howard Deal to the Nets Finalized Within 48 Hours?
Move over ESPN, there’s a new sports reporter in town. Jermaine Dupri is reporting on his verified Twitter account that Dwight Howard to the New Jersey Nets will be finalized within 48 hours 33 hours. He first tweeted this roughly 15 hours ago as of posting time, so the deal will be completed within 33 hours, according to Dupri.
