We’re going back to 1996 for this week’s Throwback Thursday, to the first single from the Fugees’ critically acclaimed, The Score, which won Best Rap Album at the 1997 Grammy’s. A couple random notes, The Fugees actually performed at my uncle’s wedding in New Jersey back in the day, apparently there is a picture in a wedding shop in New Jersey that has a picture of Wyclef and my mom in the window, and the first time I heard this album at a friend’s house the skit at the end of the song had me thinking someone was calling me out the window.
