A new video of Limp Bizkit’s first song on Young Money-Cash Money Records has leaked online, and after first listen, one can only hope it’s some sort of prank/joke. But there is good news, Fred Durst stated on Twitter that the song is not the band’s first single/video.
“Lightz” was “leaked prematurely” as Durst says to a fan on Twitter, after stating the song is not the band’s first song/video. While the video on YouTube says the name of the song is “City of Angels,” there have been behind the scenes videos posted stating the song is titled “Lightz.”

DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit premiered the band’s first song on Cash Money Records on Saturday in Australia. The song, which is set for release this week, is titled “Ready to Go” and features Lil Wayne. Lethal premiered the song at a club, so the quality of the the video isn’t great, but gives fans a preview of what to expect.

Cash Money really is trying to sign everyone. It was announced on Thursday that Limp Bizkit has been signed to Cash Money Records.
We’re going back to 1999, for this week’s Throwback Tuesday video, it’s funny because Cody and I were talking about Throwback for the week and I told him I wanted to do a Limp Bizkit song and so did he. So it only made sense for today to be the day. Back around the 1999 and the early 2000s there was a lot of hip hop rockers. From Limp Bizkit, to Kid Rock, to Linkin Park. This was one of the first rockish songs that I liked and didn’t pretend like I didn’t, which eventually led to me going out and expanding my musical horizons.
