At 9:00 am Eastern time, Ryan Seacrest announced the lineup for the 2012 iHeart Music Fest which will be taking place September 21st & 22nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The lineup, while not as stacked as last year, still features a who’s who of the music industry.
Dear Burger King & Mary J. Blige,
I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been hearing about this commercial for the last 24 hours, but didn’t witness the debauchery until 10 minutes ago.
iCant.
Wow, a lot of new music videos this week, I didn’t even know people watched them anymore LOL. Anyway Mary J Blige is back with the video for her latest single, which isn’t doing too hot on the charts, considering it’s featuring Drake. Come to think of it their other collabs didn’t do so hot either.
I know Cody posted a rock song for Throwback Tuesday, but this song has a special meaning which is why I chose it. We’re going back to 1998 for this song from the Armageddon soundtrack, and was surprisingly their only #1 single. Anybody that knows a lot about me knows that I am not a very emotional person, but this song is the only song that has made me cry as an adult. We are almost six years to the day, November 05, since my grandmother passed away. The day after she passed, I went to the grocery store and this song came on the radio and listening to the lyrics just made me get pretty emotional. So now when I hear the song it makes me think of her.
Estelle and Mary J Blige performed on last nights elimination episode of Dancing With the Stars, Estelle teamed up with Chubby Checker to perform the song that Billboard magazine named the biggest chart song of all time, “The Twist.” Mary J. on the other hand performed her classic 1992 anthem, and the song that put her on the map in the music industry, “Real Love.”
