Former Miami Heat and Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy is reportedly the top coaching choice for the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Yahoo! Sports.
We could potentially be seeing a reunion of Dwight Howard and Stan Van Gundy over at the Staples Center in LA, and I’m not sure how Dwight would feel about this news as I’m sure he’d have to answer 100 questions about this if it happens. I also believe that if the Clippers pull this off, it would be the next step in “taking over the town.”
Lol, @dwighthoward #StanVanGundy reunion on the way at the @staplescenter….. Post on the way

There is at least one person who believes Dwight Howard should be welcomed back to Orlando on Tuesday with cheers — not boos — and that person is the guy who used to coach Howard, Stan Van Gundy. In a radio interview with Mike Bianchi, Van Gundy said that Howard “should be greeted very well” when he returns to the Amway Center for the first time since being traded to the Lakers.
The Lakers‘ struggles this season have done nothing but fuel trade rumors for just about everyone on the team (except Kobe Bryant), including one Dwight Howard. As the Brooklyn Nets were long-rumored to trade for Howard, they have once again found themselves in the rumors, as well as a few other teams.
Former Orlando Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy recently addressed those rumors and gave his take on the Lakers’ chances of retaining Howard on the David Baumann show on ESPN 1080 in Orlando:
The Phoenix Suns announced on Friday that they have fired head coach Alvin Gentry after the team’s 13-28 start. An interim head coach will be named within 24-48 hours the team said. If the team is having problems finding a permanent solution, Marcin Gortat has a suggestion: Stan Van Gundy.
