Wale’s much anticipated album finally has a release date.
Thank you Wale!!!
Apparently if you call Wale just a well-known local rapper of Washington D.C., he’ll confront you, even if it’s on live TV. During Tuesday night’s Toronto Raptors-Washington Wizards game, Raptors forward Rudy Gay made some sort of phone gesture towards Wale, who was sitting courtside, which prompted the Raptors television crew to start saying things about Wale, which he didn’t like.
It’s that time of the summer when DJ Khaled drops his annual summer banger. Khaled will be dropping his seventh studio album Kiss the Ring in three weeks (August 21st), the follow up to his 2011 album which saw him receive his first Grammy nomination for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “I’m On One,” ft. (Drake, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne). This album is led by “Take it to the Head,” (ft. Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Ross & Wayne) peaked at #6 on both the Rap & Hot R&B/Hip Hop songs charts and #56 on the Hot 100, and “I Wish You Would,” (ft. Kanye West & Ross).
